- Same-day southbound sightseeing return + early next-morning flight: leave a wider evening buffer than mainland habits suggest.
- Festival or heavy cruise days change Makishi / Matsuyama approach streets; if one pad feels locked, another linked Naha spot may still turn.
- Rain plus sunset shopping traffic is a classic double hit—Explorer stock can look fine while the street does not.
What we refuse to polish away
